Welcome to Content Void of Content, the official Web Home of Kevin Hobson.

Kevin Hobson is a writer of fiction, essays, non-fiction, songs, music reviews and industrial copy about chocolate.

His work is featured in the chapbook “Image & Text” by Lindsey Wolkin and  in Instant City magazine, which can be read online here.  His past stories have appeared in journals such as The Red Wheelbarrow and the Porter Gulch Review, where his story “Notes from the Chrysalis” won that journal’s 2005 Best Fiction Prize.

His story “Alone Time” was a finalist for Glimmer Train’s 2007 Best New Writer award.

He is also a regular contributor to The Rumpus.net

He was Assistant Director of the Ecstatic Monkey Literary Collective from 2005-2007, and is currently the co-curator of BANG OUT Reading Series.

Kevin also plays bass guitar with the Accidental Poets, the backup band for folk singer John Craigie, and writes and sings songs of his own in an as-yet untitled project.
